Cost & dates 

The cost for the 2017 outdoor season is $295.00 until April 15th after which a $30.00 late fee is applied.  The season will begin the week of May 15th (weather permitting) with player evaluations/exhibition games.  After two weeks team assignments and schedules will be finalised and the regular season will begin the week of May 29th. Closing weekend tournament will take place August 25-27th.  Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded.

What is provided

Shorts, socks, jerseys, team balls and a full-season program.  Players will  receive a participation pin at the end of the season and will receive merit pins throughout the season for their legacy plaque (plaques will be provided for registrants that did not register in 2016 outdoor or 2016-17 indoor).

Nights and times

One practice and one game are scheduled between Monday and Thursday. For the house league groups there are generally two time slots per night (e.g. 6:30-7:30 and 7:30-8:30). Teams rotate throughout these two times (i.e. they don't have a fixed time) for both games and practices. Game times are moved ahead a half hour during the month of August due to lack of daylight. 

Our U11 & U12 divisions have a regular season with referees. No standings are kept, as in keeping with LTPD as set out by the Ontario Soccer Association. The divisions and teams for boys and girls are separate.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

In addition to the pleasure of being a part of your child's soccer season, the Markham Soccer Club is grateful for the necessary support we receive from our volunteer coaches.

COACHES NEEDED 
You don't need to be an ex-professional soccer player to coach house league soccer. This rewarding position requires nothing but enthusiasm.  The Club provides all the equipment.  Coaches this year will be required to coach their teams during game nights while our practice sessions will be supervised by our Professional Technical Team Coaches with the assistance of our volunteer coaches. Each team head coach receives a $50 registration credit at the end of the season. The Club supplies a cool coaching shirt for all house league team coaches.

Just fill out the Volunteer Application Form (found in the Volunteer Section under the HOME tab on the website) or send an email to Michelle Self or select the appropriate box when you are registering your child online.
